overall, a very chill two days. ate a lot of good food, walked around a lot, hung out with the family. Went to Carlsbad outlets on the way back which never hurts. I want to be a pilot now so....if you guys trust me with your lives 30,000 feet in the air...i'll be glad to take you for a ride :)

Back from the motherland aka mexico. Very interesting year, slightly different but that's the way I like it. Many possible serious injuries, but thank God nothing happened.
Eaten alive by mosquitoes and encountering many beastly spiders and one particular huge black widow is awesome.
I'm going to have Lil Wayne stuck in my head for a little while. For some reason my iTunes loaded only his album on my iPod and that's what I got stuck with for the entire trip.
After four years of this, I have finally experienced my first authentic Mexican taco and torta and I gotta say it's pretty well worth the wait. So freakin goooood.
Manzana Lift will always be one of my favorite drinks. It's good when you're just drinking it normally, but in the heat of the day it's the best drink ever.
Even though this was my fourth year, I realized i'm still ridiculously inexperienced. But that's okay cause BCM people save our butts all day down there.

Breaking down

so i started cleaning my room this week. i've pretty much never done an inside-out cleaning of any sort in my room so i got to discover some pretty awesome stuff from my youth(elementary years):

I also found one of the greatest games to ever touch the face of the planet. i played for about 20 minutes after i found it.



So after cleaning out only my desk and realizing that I had five trashbags full of crap, I have come to realize that as much as I love it, being sentimental sucks. I just keep all my crap and it just builds up. I also learned a life lesson from cleaning my room, as amazing as that sounds. After noticing all the trash and crap that I didn't want lying around on my desk and ground, I felt like i had made a bigger mess while trying to make my room cleaner. I left the crap around my ground and stuff for a couple of days and realized that it was really annoying to walk around and have to watch my step every time i wanted to walk across my room. It led me to think about my life and how i needed to change a lot of things for the better. However, I realized that I needed to always keep the goal of my desire to change in my mind, so that I would continue to work for it and eventually get where I want to be. I realized that many times I would lose sight of what I really wanted, and my situation would be like me not finishing through with cleaning up my desk crap. I would be in a more difficult situation than I started out with, just like having all my papers and binders and whatever lying all over the ground. It was just very encouraging to come across that realization, and i just hope it motivates me to do whatever i can to better myself in the ways that I need to.

I swear, i'm so freaking profound. not. but yeah, I though it was just an example of how God reveals things to you through the most random times and places. Praise Jesus, man.
